Sure made me giggle as I typed it, though, trying to stay all serious in words, yet laughing out loud at the same time. Emotional multi-tasking while typing--gotta love it!
OI!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12327381.post-1121083640923931502005-07-11T06:07:00.000-06:002005-07-11T06:07:00.000-06:00Oy. Sorry, but the more embellishment you suggested, the more I leaned toward leaving it as it is - simple, yet effective. Degrees of Brownian Motion. How about adding ecru, copper, and chocolate hardanger over-pieces? Some could be very fine and airy to showcase the background; some could be heavily embossed--even with beads and bits of metal--so as to get that temperature garnish going three-dimensionally. Or use that handpainted merino for straight stitch embellishment.

For a back-to-nature treatment, the circles look like the bird's-eye-view of reed cigars (slough cattails) to me, and could do with some fluffy bits coming out the sides, mosquitoes, dragonflies, and a red-winged blackbird. Enough ideas already?

No matter what you decide, I know it will be great.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12327381.post-1120953007742491312005-07-09T17:50:00.000-06:002005-07-09T17:50:00.000-06:00Your Temperature Study in Brown is crying out to m...Your Temperature Study in Brown is crying out to me for some reed or grass-like textured overlay.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12327381.post-1120922960486320052005-07-09T09:29:00.000-06:002005-07-09T09:29:00.000-06:00Your Temperature Study in Brown is wonderful! You spray it on, leave it for ten minutes and the gunk just wipes off. I know what you mean, though. I nearly asphyxiated myself removing mildew from my bathroom ceiling last week.

Carolyn (www.yarnhead.com/curlypurl)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12327381.post-1120880609897702832005-07-08T21:43:00.000-06:002005-07-08T21:43:00.000-06:00I really like the start you've made on the quilt!I really like the start you've made on the quilt!Deb Rhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03322863748665701618noreply@blogger.com
